n the contemporary era, characterized by the ubiquity of technology (e.g., laptop, smartphones, tablets, and artificial intelligence), have permeated every aspect of our lives, including education. The pervasiveness of these devices has sparked a debate about their impact on student's desire to learn.



To date, there have been several studies investigating the use of technological devices in language learning (Fauzi, 2018; Habibie, 2021; Nalliveettil & Alenazi, 2016), however little research on how gadget influence students’ desire to learn.
